Who we are

JoyRadius POS is provided by Echo of Forest Pty Ltd (ABN 36 688 202 253), Suite 17, 89-97 Jones Street, Ultimo NSW 2007. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we hold

For the businesses using JoyRadius POS: account details, staff names, roles and time clock records, and the store's orders, bills and reports.

For their guests: the name, phone number, email and booking or order details a guest gives. When a guest speaks to the AI phone or the AI waiter, what was said is kept so the store can read it.

We don't hold full card numbers. Card payments are handled by the store's own terminal and bank.

Why we hold it

To run the service for the store: taking orders and bookings, telling guests about them, calling guests back when the store asks, reporting to the store, and keeping the service working and secure.

Who else handles it

We use service providers to run JoyRadius POS: Cloudflare (hosting and data), Twilio (calls and text messages), Resend (email), and AI providers including Anthropic, OpenAI and Google to understand and answer guests and staff. Some of them process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We don't sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Words from AI phone calls are kept for about 30 days. Business records such as bills and payments are kept as long as the store's records require. Stores can ask us to delete or correct what they hold.

Your choices

You can ask for access to, or correction of, your personal information. Guests should contact the store first; you can also write to us at info@joyradius.com. If you aren't happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
